2015 Project 52 – Forstner Photography – Week 2

Week 2 for Project 52 is over! This past week’s theme was {Storytelling}.

There were so many different avenues I could have taken with this. I – again – have two photos that really spoke to me.

This first is one you have already seen…it’s from my Princess Cinderella morning with my niece. She had so much fun and loved every second of it! These two pictures spoke to me when it came to Storytelling.

The image on the left is just saying Oh my gosh! Can you believe I’m in this dress? My VERY OWN Cinderella dress! I get to wear it and be HER! Can you see her excitement and sheer surprise at how amazing the dress?

The image on the right…I just hear her saying: Mommy! Look at me! JUST LOOK AT ME! I’m so gorgeously amazing in this dress. So pretty….SO PRETTY! Daddy, Uncle Billy, Ayden! Look at how pretty I am in my Cinderella dress! I love it and I never ever want to take it off! Easton! Dakota! Look at me! Soooooo pretty!

The stories this sweet little one can tell to her mom and dad for the next few months will be endless. I’m pretty sure they’ll all revolve around THE CINDERELLA DRESS

My second picture for the {Storytelling} theme is one of utter sweetness coupled with a bit of mischievousness. This second photo is our pups. Dakota is our 6 year old boxer mix. Easton is our year old lab. We rescued Dakota 7 years ago from a human society that was – at that time – a kill facility. (It has since become a no kill facility.) Easton came to us from my husband’s brother and his family. They didn’t have to room for a dog quite his size. He’s been living with us since June. Most days these two have learned to get along with each other. Easton is a bully and instigator. Dakota is much calmer and more laid back…she tolerates so much from Easton. I captured this sweet moment between these two just before dinner. To me, this picture is perfectly captioned with: Easton, sit here by the fire with me so we can figure out the best way to annoy our humans tomorrow. First I think you should start crying that you want out of your crate at 5 AM. They hate that! Then when they come down to let us out, I’ll take FOREVER to go out. After that, we’ll come in with filthy feet so they get mad the carpet gets dirty…..then we’ll wrestle and they’ll get mad. After that, you should drool everywhere on the floor while you wait for your food. Then, they’ll leave us for work so we can plan the rest of our day while they’re gone. Shhhhh! Look cute, they’ll never suspect anything!

I have to admit, Project 52 certainly is something that Forstner Photography needed to keep motivated behind the camera :-) Check back next week to see where the theme from week 3 takes me!

These are adorable! I should really start a 52 week project… A lot more attainable than the 365 day one I didn’t complete last year!!

Yes…the two fur babies were behaving themselves for a few minutes to get that photo :-)

I love those dresses! I had a “Glenda” dress when I was little and wore it until the seems busted.

How cute! I am pretty sure she won’t be allowed to wear it all the time…it’s her momma’s wedding dress and we want to get these pictures every few years :-) She’ll have to settle for her Anna or Elsa dresses for now 😉

She is so stinkin’ cute with the dress on! I love that you rescued dogs. More need to be rescued instead of purchase. Your dogs are so absolutely adorable!
