Hi friends! It’s been so long since I have spent time here….I hope you didn’t miss me too much
We survived another trip around the sun and we’re 7 days into the new year! We rang 2015 in very quietly and uneventfully. We had spent most of the day in the car traveling back from Florida (more on that in another post!) to Virginia Beach. Once we made it back to Virginia Beach, we hopped in our own car and made the rest of the trip home. Needless to say, by the time we made it back home, we were pretty wiped out.
We let the pups out and spent some quality time with them while warming up some frozen jalapeño poppers. Quite the New Year’s Eve meal right? 😉 As we hung out with the pups, we tuned in to the ever entertaining Dick Clark’s Rocking New Year’s Eve celebration and watched Taylor Swift serenade the New York crowd while freezing followed by the ball drop. At 12:01, January 1, 2015, I was sound asleep on the couch. How’s that for an eventful New Year’s Eve?
2015 is shaping up to be a great year for me. I have 3 of my own weddings booked so far, head shots with a fellow photographer the end of this month, and am lined up for at least 1 second shooting job My first solo wedding was this past weekend and it went well! I can’t wait to post the blog and my favorite pictures from that soon. As for the rest of this year, I plan to find a passion project and continue to develop my photography skills through that as well as share my photos.
Here’s to the fantastic year that 2014 was and to the amazing and wonderful plans 2015 has in store for everyone! Happy New Year friends! (And here’s a sneak peek of what we did over our Christmas break)
