Who doesn’t love a happy person? Who doesn’t love a smiling face? And seriously, who doesn’t love a bride to be?
I had the pleasure of helping this sweet young lady, Brittany Jo, get a few snapshots for her own modeling portfolio. She’s a sweetheart and absolutely so much to work with! you ask for a playful moment and she gives it to you. You ask for a seductive, come to me look and she nails it.
We shot these at Midlothian Mines Park (I’m telling you – this park is THE PLACE to shoot!) this past Sunday and the weather was perfect! I had such a fun time with her that I cannot wait to second shoot my very first wedding this coming Sunday with the amazing Amber Kay Photography. Keep your eyes peeled for my upcoming post on what is certain to be an amazing experience for me!
In a recent post, I told you how I was from the most patriotic city in the US and lived just outside the best place to catch Independence Day fireworks.
Did you know, that in regards to metropolitan areas, I also reside within minutes of the happiest and am from the 2nd most happiest (in terms of metropolitan areas)? You can read about here.
I can tell you, from a visual standpoint, Richmond at night – specifically the skyline – is simply amazing! I had the pleasure of visiting the city’s floodwall this past Friday night and capturing the city skyline at night. It was certainly something to see. I can’t wait to go back and catch a few more shots just as sunset. I can tell you, it will be amazing! For now, enjoy these night shots!
Happy 2nd anniversary to us!
We were married July 28, 2012. It was a whirlwind of a day and one of the best days of our life! We have since weathered our own ups and downs, but have stuck together through it all. I can tell you that we’re a better couple today than we were a year ago and 2 years ago. Our marriage is a like a fine wine – it only gets better with time!
Our 2nd year of marriage took us to a new home that we picked out and built together. It found me working towards pursing a dream that my sweet husband enabled further by getting me my second DSLR for my 31st birthday. It found Billy turning 37, getting a welder for his mustang hobby, and wrapping up his tenth year of teaching! In between the major milestones, we had many adventures including a few weddings, apple picking, pumpkin picking, packing up our apartment, planting our very own garden, and acquiring a second puppy. We’re now a family of 4 – 2 humans (us!) plus 2 puppies. I can’t wait to see where the next year takes us and all the adventures we’ll have! Here’s to the next 365 days of our amazing marriage – the ups and downs, good and bad, and everything in between!
Happy anniversary to my best pal, main squeeze, and partner in crime! I love you, Billy!
