Luray Caverns and Skyline Drive

From time to time, we can get caught up in dreaming and wishing so much that we miss out on what’s right in front of us.

This past weekend, we were fortunate to be able to spend time enjoying the amazing beauty that Virginia has to offer. We made a two hour trek to Luray where we wandered around underground for a mile. We were able to take in the natural beauty of the caverns, heard them sing, and even got to experience total blackness.

After we wrapped up our tour of the caverns, we hopped up on Skyline drive and drove south to check out the wondrous beauty of the Virginia Mountains. We saw some amazing skylines and even got up close with a few deer. We hiked a waterfall and managed to thoroughly wear ourselves out.

Enjoy the images we were able to capture and if you get a chance, check out the sites your local area and state have to offer!
